Group Therapy

Participation in therapy groups can be incredibly impactful for people on their healing journeys because members often find comfort in knowing they are not alone in their struggles. Sharing experiences with others who face similar challenges can reduce feelings of isolation and foster a sense of belonging. It can help individuals see their own situations in new ways, gain insight, and learn alternative coping strategies. It provides a safe environment to skills you are likely learning in your individual therapy as well. Members can give and receive feedback in real time, which helps build confidence in social interactions and also learn from each other’s successes, setbacks, and problem-solving approaches.

PLEASE NOTE: All groups require an intake session prior to group starting if you are not an established client. We try to run our groups a couple of times throughout the year. We don't always know the exact start dates as they depend on filling the group. If there is a group you are interested in, register for it and we will contact you as soon as we know the start date. Registering is noncommittal. If the date does not work for you, we will add you to the waitlist for the next time the group is offered. We cap most of our groups at 8 people to make sure safety is prioritized and that there is enough space to process for everyone participating.
