I believe a client’s experience in therapy should be client-centered, trauma informed, collaborative, reflective and constructive. I like to imagine that each client is on a road trip, with the final destination of becoming a more self-aware, confident, and self-empowered human. Using therapy as their vehicle, I allow my clients to drive their own sessions, picking what pitstops in their life they want to focus on and explore. My role in the passenger seat is to meet them where they are currently at in their healing journey and help them navigate the terrain and bumps in the road. Eventually, once they have mastered the terrain on their own and we reach what they believe is the final destination, I get out of the car, and wave goodbye as their journey continues without me. My approach to therapy is based on the idea that relationships are fundamental to the health & well-being of my clients. I tend to work well with people struggling with relational issues, anxiety, depression, & trauma who are looking to improve the authenticity of their relationships.

I believe everyone has the capacity to grow & thrive with the right support. My role is to collaborate with & challenge you to help change your life perspectives & exist in ways that bring you both happiness & empowerment. I favor the inclusion of group therapy to individual work to create & maintain a foundation of support & understanding. I work from a client-centered relational perspective & integrate tools from different theoretical orientations to tailor the therapy to each individual's needs to best help them overcome the struggles they bring to sessions. My goal is to meet you where you are in your life & offer a place for self-exploration while pushing you to change unhealthy patterns. Challenging yourself to feel motivated, in control, & confident in your abilities to achieve goals & overcome the inevitable obstacles along the way is what therapy is all about.

I am currently accepting PacificSource, Providence, Aetna, and Lyra insurance plans. Sliding scale slots are also available to help make therapy accessible if you need financial flexibility. Please reach out to discuss your options or with any questions about coverage.

Traditional talk therapy is a collaborative process where individuals come to discuss different mental health challenges they have been dealing with. Traditional talk therapy is effective for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, offering a safe and confidential space to explore and address life's difficulties.

Equine assisted therapy involves interactions between clients and horses to promote emotional growth and well-being. Clients engage in ground-based activities which can help improve self-confidence, communication skills, and emotion regulation. This approach is used to support a variety of experiences; including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD. The unique bond formed with horses offers a nonjudgmental and calming environment, fostering healing and personal development.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a structured approach developed to help individuals process and recover from traumatic experiences and distressing memories. Using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, it can help clients reprocess traumatic events so they are less disruptive. Research has shown EMDR to be particularly effective for treating conditions related to trauma.

Group therapy is a form of therapy where individuals with similar concerns or experiences come together in a supportive environment, to learn, share their thoughts, feelings, and gain insight. It fosters a sense of community, reduces isolation, and provides opportunities for personal growth, skill-building, and emotional healing. It can be an effective approach for a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties.

Couples therapy is a specialized branch of therapy designed to help partners understand, navigate, and improve their relationship dynamics. In this setting, the therapist treats the relationship itself as the primary client, rather than focusing solely on the individual issues of each person. Whether a couple is navigating a severe crisis, feeling disconnected, or simply wanting to strengthen an already healthy bond, couples counseling provides a safe environment to foster growth and healing.
